PayGate chosen by Vox for internet credit card processing

PayGate, has been chosen by Datapro (recently rebranded Vox Telecom) for processing credit cards online for Vox’s new voice and data convergence product reseller system. Vox, through their partners provides telecommunications products and services to over 60,000 consumers and over 60% of the top 200 listed companies.

Parallels and synergies are to be seen between these two fast track companies led by pioneering and extreme entrepreneurs who deliver on their promises to deliver leading edge innovative solutions to business and the general public.

Pioneers – The pioneering instincts of Vox (merchant) and PayGate (gateway), are exhibited by the two CEO’s. Doug Reed of Vox, an accomplished mountaineer and his 15-member management team hoisted a flag bearing the company’s new Vox logo on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Unassuming CEO of PayGate, Peter Harvey has done the Dusi twice, Iron Man three times, Argus Cycle Tour fourteen times and attempted the Cape Epic. Their pioneering and innovative cultures are reflected in their leading edge internet credit card processing and telecoms solutions.

Growth – Vox Telecom performance under the direction of Doug Reed has been nothing short of spectacular. The Vox share price has grown over 300% annually, and PayGate has experienced double digit growth in clients and processing volumes year on year.

Stable and reliable – Recent financials record a Vox market cap of over R2billion and over R 600-million in cash. Entrepreneurial PayGate recognises its responsibility as a payment service provider and has at all times employed conservative financial policies with no debt and significant cash reserves.

Entrepreneurial and innovative – CEO Douglas Reed is entrepreneurial and shaking up the local telecoms space and planning to turn the South African telecoms space on its head with a new ‘profit sharing’ concept and innovative products related to convergence of voice and data communications. Under the guidance of CEO Peter Harvey, PayGate has launched a series of innovative local and international internet credit card processing solutions that place it ahead of the rest of the industry.

A novel multi-level marketing approach, successfully employed by large international players like MCI and Sprint, has been adopted by Vox as a first in South African telecommunications. This will share profits and benefits with business and the opportunity for the public to become resellers. PayGate has provided a stable and reliable credit card processing interface for Vox using their PayXML interface which allows customers to keep their own look and feel for a seamless customer experience.

PayGate is proud to be a part of Vox’s success and has a range of innovative payment solutions to make credit card processing easy for fast track corporates and convergence companies.
